Attorneys April Laws and Deanna Giroux, with the assistance of Paralegal, Michelle LaRosa, obtained an order of the Washington County Supreme Court dismissing Washington County from an action brought pursuant to the Adult Survivor’s Act. Plaintiff alleged that, while she was incarcerated at Washington County Jail in the 1990’s, she was subjected to sexual assault by a former correction officer.
