The Supreme Court, Schenectady County, granted a pre-answer motion to dismiss brought by Attorney April Laws. The hybrid complaint sought declaratory relief and compensatory damages as it related to the custody and care of a patient under its care who had previously been by the County’s DSS. Plaintiff has appealed this decision to the Appellate Division, Third Department.
